The Art of Sailing Through Time
Nov 14, 2023
Your heart beats by itself,
lungs breathe spontaneously
sometimes faster, sometimes slower
Our existence is a dance and nature is our partner
Shapes in the spray as the sea breaks on the rocks
rowing back and forth, with all my might
I promise, as sure and inviolate
that this way is the right way
A tide in the affairs of men,
leading to the bending of time
in the most commonplace of things
Yet the art of sailing is seldom underwater
to flow, to feel,
to waltz with the waves
in the end the dance is the dance
let it happen by itself, herself, himself;
ourselves
