Could this be
a change
and point of view
I have seen those
dealing with the devil
Pleading and smiling
as black gates open loose

A dismal situation
Reading scriptures
in waste and wild

You were taught to quell
the roots of mankind
rather to savour avarice
and follow the blind

maybe some day
you will make up your mind

Even the ashamed
Coiled and obscene
must surely believe

Despite the darkness
a shimmering light
can be seen
